Privacy Policy
Effective date: 10 October 2026
JirehCross ("we", "us") makes Pawenda, a paid pet-care calendar for pet parents. This policy explains what information Pawenda uses and what stays on your device.
This policy covers the Pawenda mobile app, the Pawenda website at pawenda.com, and the Pawenda web viewer at pawenda.com/viewer. Those surfaces use this same text.
Pawenda is not directed at children under 13. A child should use it only with a parent or guardian.
You can email privacy questions to jirehcross.tech@gmail.com.
The Pawenda app
You buy Pawenda from the Apple App Store or Google Play. It is offered worldwide. Apple or Google handles the payment. Pawenda does not receive your payment card number.
Pawenda does not require an account. Your pets, care routines, completions, notes, and photos are stored on your device. Care routines can include baths, grooming, medication, vet visits, and other schedules you add. We do not receive that information as part of normal use.
Care reminders are scheduled on your device. They are not sent to us.
You can export a backup file and open it in the web viewer at pawenda.com/viewer. The viewer reads that file in your browser. It does not require an account, and it does not upload the backup to us.
You can delete pets, routines, and photos in the app. Uninstalling Pawenda removes the copy stored on that device. A backup file remains wherever you saved it.
Photos
If you add a pet photo or a photo on a care record, Pawenda stores that image on your device. Choosing a photo may ask the system for access to your camera or photo library. Pawenda uses that access only to attach the image you pick.
App version check
When Pawenda opens and the device is online, it asks pawenda.com which app version is current. That request does not include your pet records. It is used only to tell you when an update is available.
Product updates
If you allow notifications, Pawenda can register this device with Firebase Cloud Messaging to deliver product announcements. You can turn product-update notifications off in the app or in your device settings. Care reminders on the device are separate from these announcements.
Support reports
If you contact support in the app, Pawenda sends the report you choose to submit:
- the category you select
- the message you write
- up to three screenshots, if you attach them
- optional diagnostics, if you leave that option on: app version, build number, platform, operating system version, device model, and whether the app is a development or production build
The support form does not ask for your email address. Reports are stored with Firebase so we can read them and respond to the problem. We keep a report only as long as needed to handle it, and then delete it.
Crash reports
Release builds of Pawenda send crash reports to Google Firebase Crashlytics so we can fix crashes. A report contains the error, the stack trace, the app version, the time of the crash, an installation id for that app install, and technical device details such as the device model and operating system. It does not include your pet records, photos, or support message.
Crash reports are on by default. You can turn them off with Send crash reports. After you turn them off, Pawenda stops sending new crash reports from that device.
Who receives information
We do not sell your information. We do not show ads.
We use Google Firebase for the features above:
- Firebase Cloud Messaging, for product-update notifications
- Firebase Storage and Cloud Functions, for support reports you submit
- Firebase Crashlytics, for crash reports while that setting is on
- Firebase App Check, to check that support requests come from the Pawenda app
Apple or Google processes your purchase under that store's own terms and privacy policy.
Changes
If this policy changes, we will post the updated version with a new effective date. The copy in the app and the copy on pawenda.com are the same text.
